Asbestos Building Inspector / Management Planner Refresher
Price: US$200.00
Course Description:
This refresher course combines the Building Inspector and Management Planner training and reviews the key information from the original courses, as well as up to date information regarding regulatory and legislative changes. Students are encouraged to participate actively in the classroom discussions and bring their knowledge and experiences into the class learning activities.
A Certificate of Completion for AHERA Asbestos Building Inspector and Management Planner Refresher Training is given to each participant that attends the full-day class and provides CAL INC with a copy of their initial course certificate and most recent applicable refresher training
Combination class hours: 8am - 4:30pm. Continental breakfast and full lunch included.

Asbestos Building Inspector Refresher ONLY

Course Description:
This course meets the AHERA annual refresher training requirements for individuals who have already taken and passed the AHERA Asbestos Building Inspector Initial course. The Building Inspector course is held during the morning session, ending at 12 noon. Students who need the Management Planner attend the full day session. This course will review regulations, new legislation, a review of topics from the original course, and new practices or tools or the trade.
To use these courses for the AHERA reaccreditation purposes, enrollees must bring a copy of their original certificate for their most recent Cal/OSHA approved Building Inspector Course.
A Building Inspector Refresher certification is awarded to all attendees who meet the required prerequisite and pass the written examination. Full attendance is mandatory.
Class begins at 8am. Lunch is provided from one of several local restaurants.

Asbestos Contractor Supervisor Refresher

Course Description:
This course meets the AHERA annual refresher training requirement for Asbestos Contractor/Supervisors. The course covers EPA-required topics including a review of regulations (including new and changes to existing regulations), new legislation, a review of topics and information from the initial course, and any new tools or practices of the trade. In addition to the minimum EPA requirements, students will cover issues of current and enduring importance in the field of asbestos contracting and supervision. Instructors take the time to cover topics of importance to individual students. In-depth coverage of important issues allows students to go back to their work places with the skills to answer questions as they arise. In short, this course is not the sort of dull repetition of the same old information that you already know. Aspects of the original course are included with timely updates and presented in ways that challenge the students to gain a deeper and continuing knowledge of the topics that effect their job. To use this course for AHERA re-certification purposes, enrollees must bring a copy of their original certificate from their most recent EPA-approved Contractor/Supervisor course.
ABIH Credits: 1.0 CM.
Prerequisites: Previous 40-hour Asbestos Contractor/Supervisor training and annual refreshers.
Certificate of Completion: A CAL INC Certificate documenting Asbestos Contractor/Supervisor Refresher training is awarded to each student who attends the course. Full attendance is mandatory.
Course Hours: This one day course held at CAL INC starts at 8:00 am and runs until 4:30 pm. Participants are provided with a continental breakfast and lunch is served from one of several local restaurants.

Asbestos Maintenance Worker Refresher

Course Description:
This 4-hour refresher course meets the OSHA annual training requirements for Asbestos Maintenance Workers (OSHA Class III).This course reviews regulations, topics from the original course, and any new practices or tools of the trade.
Pre-requisite: Previous 16-hour Asbestos Maintenance Worker training and annual refreshers.
Course hours: 8am - 12:00 p.m.

Asbestos Management Planner Refresher ONLY

Course Description:
This class is recommended to be taken after a student takes the Building Inspector class. This course meets requirements for Management Planners and is one of the course requirements for the Cal/OSHA Asbestos Certified Consultant.
This course meets the AHERA annual refresher for training requirements for individuals who have already taken and passed the AHERA Management Planner Initial. This class is held during our afternoon session, beginning at 12:30 PM. The class covers EPA-required topics, including review of regulations, topics from the orginal course, and any new practices or tools of the trade.
A Management Planner Refresher certification is awarded to all attendees who meet the required prerequisite and pass the written examination. Full attendance is mandatory.
Class begins at 12:30 PM.

Asbestos Project Designer Refresher

Course Description:
This course provides the asbestos professional with a comprehensive review of the design principles necessary for asbestos abatement projects. The course includes a review of regulatory requirements, state-of-the-art work practices, safety, abatement contract documents, and containment design principals and recent changes to applicable regulations. ABIH Credits: 1.0 CM. Certificate of Completion: A CAL INC Certificate documenting Asbestos Project Designer AHERA Annual Refresher training is awarded to each student who attends the course. Full attendance is mandatory.
Course Hours: This one day course held at CAL INC starts at 8:00 am and runs until 4:30 pm. Participants are provided with a continental breakfast and lunch is served from one of several local restaurants.

Asbestos Worker Refresher
Price: US$200.00
Class Times: 8:00am-4:30pm
Course Description:
This course meets the AHERA annual refresher training requirements for Asbestos Workers. The course covers EPA required topics including a review of regulations (including new regulations), new legislation, a review of topics from the original course, and any new practices or tools of the trade. In addition to the minimum EPA requirements, students will cover practical issues workers face with real-world solutions. Training is always geared toward the type of activity that students regularly perform, so that the course is valuable and practical for all students.
To use this course for AHERA reaccreditation purposes, enrollees must bring a copy of their original certificate from their most recent EPA approved Worker course.
ABIH Credits: 1.0 CM
Prerequisites: AHERA accreditation as an Asbestos Worker (or within one year of expiration date).
Certificate of Completion: A CAL INC Certificate documenting Worker accreditation is awarded to each student who attends the course. Full attendance is mandatory.
Course Hours: This one day course held at CAL INC starts at 8:00 am and runs until 4:30 pm. Participants are provided with a continental breakfast and lunch is served from one of several local restaurants.
