Ms. Wroten is Director of Safety and Environmental Compliance and Safety Director and has over 15 years of experience in the environmental and safety arena.
From 2003-2012, Ms. Carla Wroten led CALINC Training's rise as one of the fastest growing Environmental and Safety Training providers in Northern California. Ms. Wroten's background in safety was first developed when running the Training Department at CAL INC, and receiving further education on the State and Federal regulations for environmental and construction work.
From 2015- present, she was has also been in charge of CAL INC's safety program for approximately 55 field employees. She works with the company's Safety Committee to set up job site audits, investigate job hazards, and teach and mentor employees on applicable CA and Federal regulations. She is responsible for all safety recordkeeping at our company and is in charge of filling out our OSHA 300 log. In addition, she updates and maintains a passing grade for all safety requirement under the ISNetworld safety portal for corporations such as Genentech, PepsiCo, Pacific Gas & Electric (PG&E).
Ms. Wroten is the current Lead Director for CALINC Training under CDPH (California Department of Public Health's) and the REHS (Registered Environmental Health Specialists) Accreditation Programs. CALINC Training has been an accredited training provider since 1995 for Lead, teaching all lead-related construction courses. She administers our lead program and is in charge of correspondence and compliance with California's Department of Public Health's Childhood Lead Poisoning Prevention Branch's Title 17 regulations as well as applicable OSHA regulations. In addition, she is the Cal/OSHA Training Director for all our asbestos courses and she is also the EPA Training director for all of our EPA Lead-based paint Renovation, Repair, and Paint courses.
Ms. Wroten has assembled instructors with diverse training to instruct our courses. Our courses include Cal/OSHA Asbestos: Worker, Contractor Supervisor, Project Designer, Craft Worker Roofer, Management Planner, Building Inspector, and Maintenance Worker; California Department of Public Health's Lead-Based Paint: Supervisor/Project Monitor, Inspection Assessment, Sampling Technician, Worker, and continuing Education courses; HAZWOPER initial and refresher courses, and Mold initial and refresher courses.
In 2021, Carla won the League of California Women's Caucus- Women of Persistence Award, nominated by Winters' City Councilwoman, Jesse Loren.
