COURSE DESCRIPTION

This training course is designed to help companies comply with the OSHA Lead Standards (8 CCR 1532.1 and 29 CFR 1926.62.) Information presented includes but is not limited to: PELs and action levels, exposure assessment and air monitoring, hygiene and housekeeping, personal protective equipment, medical surveillance and lead safe work practices. This training is required whenever an employee is occupationally exposed to lead at or above the action level.This course does NOT allow you to perform lead abatement.

Course Completion Documentation:
A certificate documenting completion of the Lead Awareness Course is given to students who attend the full class time. Full attendance is mandatory.

Course Hours: This 2 hour course held at CALINC starts at 10:30 am and runs until approximately 12:00 pm.

Please Note: Students have the option of taking the 2 HOUR Asbestos Awareness Training prior to the start of the Lead Awareness Training. If enrolled in both Awareness courses consecutively on the same business day, reduced fee is $150.00 for both courses. If taken individually, fee is $100.00 per awareness training.
